Reading the World: A Global Journey Through Books

A Page From Our Digital Exhibit

Knowing how to read gives us a way to learn new things and participate in daily activities such as the Mobile Museum exhibit. This display traces the history of written communication from cave markings to e-devices. It illustrates for children and their families how we are connected across time and space through books and other written forms. In addition, the display will stimulate families and children to engage in conversations about the importance of reading books for information and for fun. This is complimented by a downloadable project for visitors to do in their school or community libraries.
