Iowa Summer Reading Programs

In an effort to better understand the state of summer reading programs in Iowa, the Iowa Reading Research Center (IRRC) commissioned A Look at Summer Reading Programs Across Iowa. Conducted by Iowa’s Regent Universities (Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa, and the University of Iowa), the report provides an overview of current summer reading programming and how summer programs are conducted and supported. The findings will guide the IRRC in its work to support schools for intensive summer reading programs that take effect May 2017.
